Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Ivaga (“we”, “us”) collects from members of ivaga.in, and how we use it.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive:

• Your name and email address
• Your Google account profile photo

You may also give us, directly:

• A display name, username and bio, if you set them on your profile
• Your poll votes and quiz answers in the Arena
• Anything you send through the contact form — your name, email and message

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Song and video embeds load from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain and set nothing until you press play.

Why we collect it

To run your account, show the events and posts you have access to, keep score in the Arena, and reply if you contact us. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who we share it with

Google, for sign-in. Supabase, who host our database and authentication. Vercel, who host the website. Each processes your data only as needed to keep Ivaga running.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. Contact us and we will delete your account and the data attached to it, other than what we are required to keep for legal reasons.

Your rights

You can review and edit your profile at any time from your account page. To access, correct, or delete your data, or to ask us anything about this policy, write to hello@ivaga.in.

Children

Ivaga is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including row-level access controls in our database. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
